Heart Connection Workshop for Couples

Second only to your health, the intimate connection between you and your partner is amongst the most important foundations of your life. If it works, you'll find you can face any challenge together; you can take on any task and find success and happiness. Day-to-day arguments and problems can be easily navigated. Life just flows.

And that's how it felt when you first got together. But, somehow, somewhere along the way, you lost that intimate connection. Battle lines were drawn. Exit strategies created. Either consciously or unconsciously, you drifted apart, lost the plot. Now, if you are both willing, you could rediscover the love you had… at a deeper, empathetic level.

Objectives and Approach

This workshop is what you need to begin to recreate intimacy in your relationship. A journey of discovery of who you both are, separately and together. Bringing your authentic selves-the lost parts, the wounded sides and the hidden facets-to the surface in a space of safety and love.

Using a combination of psychological and astrological techniques, Barry and Ingrid will help you discover and explore your individual psyches. As you come to discover your own strengths and weaknesses, lost dreams and hidden wounds, you'll have the opportunity to share this new vision of yourself with your partner, and vice versa. You'll both uncover apparently new aspects of one another, but ones you actually knew all along. They were what attracted you together in the first place.

As your empathy for one another grows, we'll introduce you to communication skills and techniques that you can hone exactly to your own individual and relationship patterns and needs. You'll learn how to hear one another's truth; practice holding each other's pain and passion.

You will have the opportunity to work singly on you own growth, jointly in empathy with your partner on your mutual healing and together with the whole group to benefit from and give support to the entire group's journey. You'll come away from the workshop seeing yourself, your partner and your relationship in a new light. And, a new level of relating… from the Heart.
